The Wilhelmina plantsoen was opend by and named after queen Wilhelmina in 1936. Plantsoen is Dutch for park.

I work on making the desing less interactive and more static, the interactive part should be in the new postings.
Not in some weird colour expirience, it's bleu links and black text, anything else makes you think about stuff and the page harder to read and navigate.
Alineas are also a must but are hard to create by logical size, the size of the textbox could mean 6 rows of text, in another lay out it could be a single line.

I should write a bit for each blog every day, this will be hard so bare with me on this one.

Style is one part self-knowledge and one part self-confidence. In other words, it’s an attitude. It is knowing your strengths and weaknesses so that you can accentuate your strengths. Feeling good about yourself is a sine qua non of looking good.
Style always delights because it is a revelation that the possibilities for originality are limitless.
Style is intelligent, because it requires self-knowledge. Style hugs the self closely, even though it never represents the whole self at one time. The self is too complex to be represented by any one way of dressing.
Style is optimistic. It is optimism made visible. Style presumes that you are a person of interest, that the world is a place of interest, that life is worth making the effort for.
Ideally it should evolve over time, as character does. Style is really self-knowledge applied selectively--selectivity is its essence--to the material world.

a small tribute to Blogger
I was impressed by the blogger help index. If this doesn't look well oganized I don't know what does. I had the great idea to put information about the link on the right of it in the same colour as the background. A mouse over would make the text black but wont work on the link. ^_^

About Enkhuizen
A well preserved city in The Netherlands granted its city-rights in 1355. In the 16th and 17th century the city prospered, mainly due to trading by the East and West-Indies Company. Of wich peroiod many structures remain.
Classic Dutch canals bridges and harbours. Enkhuizen is the largest Dutch port for traditional sailing recreation.
The Snouck van Loosen park
The Snouckvanloosen family left us a lot of amazing structures, among which this park they had build for their workers.
